I remember watching a Chippy video where someone suggested making Boss Relics like banners for bosses, and Red responded with the opposite idea of making them tougher, which I think is a wonderful idea since after Moon Lord the game has no challenges left to do.
I think that, once you beat Moon Lord, trophies (in order to make it accessible to other difficulties) and Relics (just a cosmetic thing for Master Mode players, and means you won't need to farm for a trophy) can be activated. As long as one trophy or relic for a certain boss is active in a world, any time that boss is spawned, it is more powerful.
What does "more powerful" mean? Well ideally I'd love to see weak bosses get brand new attack patterns in order to make them fresh, as well as a higher stat block above that of even the Moon Lord. That said, that's probably a lot of coding and might not fit into the scope of 1.4.5. If it is too much, just a higher stat block would make bosses more interesting and give Post-Moon Lord gear a reason to exist. These powered up bosses don't need extra loot. The reward for fighting them should just be a sense of accomplishment. Maybe an achievement for beating all powered up bosses ("True Master of Terraria?")
