PC Ancient Cultist death scream played randomly in jungle

I swear this isn't just me trying to do a dumb creepypasta bit.

I was in the underground jungle mining out my Plantera arena when I went to go pick up a clump of coins and goodie bags on the ground from enemies I killed earlier. After I grabbed it all I heard the Lunatic Cultist death scream play out of nowhere. I've never started the lunar events on this character or done anything to activate the Lunatic Cultist in this world at all. Does anyone know how or why this happened?

EDIT: Restarted the world after I heard it again while building platforms. Seemed to fix it but still pretty strange.
