1. We have been doing lots of balancing for our 1.0 release, so don't fret.

2. We are moving them to their own mod to avoid power creep

3. We're changing her as well as hydra to make them more of a challenge

4. Already nerfed for 1.0

5. He's gonna sell more event stuff in 1.0.

Also, lots of fluff content has been removed like useless/broken armors, etc.

Gotcha, that all sounds great and glad you already were on it haha. The thinning out of content may be good too. Because my poor 4GB Tmodloader was getting a bit stressed. The 64bit version doesnt' work for me or is insanely unstable. Kudo's either way and I'm eagerly looking forward to 1.0
 
hey I have been wondering. when I looked at the wiki like a long time ago I remember seeing 2 bosses called emperor fishron and the old soul(the Cthulhu wheel thing) and I am wandering why they got deleted also I think there was a third boss that was removed idk

hey I have been wondering. when I looked at the wiki like a long time ago I remember seeing 2 bosses called emperor fishron and the old soul(the Cthulhu wheel thing) and I am wandering why they got deleted also I think there was a third boss that was removed idk

Well, let me tell you about them:
Emperor Fishron used to be a boss in AA, but he is removed. And his drops are crafted with EX Souls. The Cthulhu wheel thing you mentioned is called Soul of Cthulhu and he is one of the Superancients planned for AA and it is confirmed to be added in 3.0, along with the Sunken Ship Biome and Kraken Boss. Soul of Cthulhu will basically have a powerful version of Duke Fishron in his battle and it will share the same sprite -but different color- of Emperor Fishron.

So i have a Question Is there Lore to be added to the Ancient Awakened mod as it is Very similar to the Calamity mod which has enough Lore to be made into a actual Show soo should we expect the same level of Lore with AA? if so HELLL YEAH

The post-moonlord bosses were fantastic and the music was so amazing (I absolutely love the awakened Yamata soundtrack).
Also, a special thank you to whoever made much of the end-game ammunition and boss summoning items as non-consumable.

If you don't mind, could you please confirm/deny/elaborate the following (looking to update the wiki)?
1. The wiki states that the 3 ancients drop EX Souls, but the recipe browser shows only Zero does; Do all 3 drop them?
2. Are EX Souls tied to world progression? My progression was Akuma -> Zero -> Yamata -> Supreme Rajah. I slayed 120 Akuma and 400 Zero without a single EX Soul, then slammed through both Yamata and Rajah. The wiki states they are just "post-ancient" which is a bit misleading; Are they actually Post-Rajah, or do they just require all 3 ancients have been slain?
3. Are EX Souls actually a 2.5% Drop chance? After defeating Rajah, I slayed 1049 Zero for a total of 27 EX Souls, which leads me to believe the 10% drop rate listed on the wiki is false.
4. Alphakip's EX Armor (Fish Diver's set) seems either Bugged or mislabeled. Each piece lists 20% melee/ranged damage, 20% melee/ranged crit, and 13% damage resistance.
*The pants work as expected - I can see the critical chance and damage boost.
*The Jacket seems to apply the damage boost, but do not give any critical strike chance.
*The Mask does not show ANY stat boosts; both damage and critical strike chance are not working.

As a general recommendation, have you considered making the biome-specific debuffs (fire damage over time in Volcano, and the fog blindness) only occur after the eye of cthulu has been defeated? It's not an uncommon strategy to go to the edge of your worlds exploring on night 1 just to map out which sides have what (dungeon, jungle, etc) while grabbing surface chests. The current Bog makes this nearly impossible, and the Volcano on Large worlds would be almost impassable.

So i have a Question Is there Lore to be added to the Ancient Awakened mod as it is Very similar to the Calamity mod which has enough Lore to be made into a actual Show soo should we expect the same level of Lore with AA? if so HELLL YEAH

There is lore in this mod, but just not as amazing as Calamity's. But sadly, it isn't built up too much, since most important figures of this mod are yet to be added ingame like Oblivion, Fulgurus. When most of the bosses are added, maybe we can start working on publishing the lore of AA.

The post-moonlord bosses were fantastic and the music was so amazing (I absolutely love the awakened Yamata soundtrack).
Also, a special thank you to whoever made much of the end-game ammunition and boss summoning items as non-consumable.

If you don't mind, could you please confirm/deny/elaborate the following (looking to update the wiki)?
1. The wiki states that the 3 ancients drop EX Souls, but the recipe browser shows only Zero does; Do all 3 drop them?
2. Are EX Souls tied to world progression? My progression was Akuma -> Zero -> Yamata -> Supreme Rajah. I slayed 120 Akuma and 400 Zero without a single EX Soul, then slammed through both Yamata and Rajah. The wiki states they are just "post-ancient" which is a bit misleading; Are they actually Post-Rajah, or do they just require all 3 ancients have been slain?
3. Are EX Souls actually a 2.5% Drop chance? After defeating Rajah, I slayed 1049 Zero for a total of 27 EX Souls, which leads me to believe the 10% drop rate listed on the wiki is false.
4. Alphakip's EX Armor (Fish Diver's set) seems either Bugged or mislabeled. Each piece lists 20% melee/ranged damage, 20% melee/ranged crit, and 13% damage resistance.
*The pants work as expected - I can see the critical chance and damage boost.
*The Jacket seems to apply the damage boost, but do not give any critical strike chance.
*The Mask does not show ANY stat boosts; both damage and critical strike chance are not working.

As a general recommendation, have you considered making the biome-specific debuffs (fire damage over time in Volcano, and the fog blindness) only occur after the eye of cthulu has been defeated? It's not an uncommon strategy to go to the edge of your worlds exploring on night 1 just to map out which sides have what (dungeon, jungle, etc) while grabbing surface chests. The current Bog makes this nearly impossible, and the Volcano on Large worlds would be almost impassable.

Thanks for the feedback you are giving to AA! If you have liked the post ML content so far, you will love what will come soon: We will have Anubis and Greed as Hardmode Ancient Bosses and Shen Doragon as a post-Zero Superancient boss, on the same tier with Champ Rajah but a tad bit harder. They will come on 1.0 update, and in future updates after 1.0, we will have more exciting and amazing bosses like Infinity Zero, Soul of Cthulhu, Mushmad, Terra, Oblivion etc.

Anyways, let me answer your questions:

1. It shows that the Ancients drop EX Souls, but we haven't come to a certain point yet. Most possibly, we will make Superancients drop 1 for certain, and maybe for other Ancients, it might be rare drops.

2. EX Souls are meant to be dropping after defeating any of the Superancients. So far, we only have Champ Rajah but eventually we will have Shen Doragon. They are made into Superancient Tier weapons/accessories.

3. There is currently a bug on the droprates of EX Souls. It will be fixed on 1.0 update. Also, the majority of info in wiki are outdated, we will work on there once the update drops.

4. The Dev Armor sets will be removed in 1.0 update. But their vanity sets will remain, just the actual class armor versions of those will be removed. Also, the Marvel content in this mod like Infinity Stones/Gauntlet and Stan Lee NPC will be removed as well, but will return in a Marvel-related content mod, which will be made by one of the devs most possibly.

Also, we can't change anything about the natural occurences of Inferno and Mire biomes. They are MEANT to be explored on certain times of the day: Mire on night time, and Inferno on daytime. And after Akuma/Yamata, those occurences will be removed for good so there is no worry for exploring after that. If the world has Snow Biome, it will have Inferno for sure, so you can mark that up. Mire always generates on the opposite side of Dungeon, so it is easy to mark that up too.

I look Forward to the Lore's expansion as i can tell it will reach Calamity level's if not beyond in lore even if my computer is a :red: piece of software that won't let me play it The lore is the best part Im..Actually surprised no one's made a Fanime out of some of the Mod Lore
 
I have another question, when is the 1.0 , 2.0 ,and 3.0 coming out(no rush)

We don't have a certain release date for 1.0 yet, but we are planning to release the mod before Journey's End pops up. And to be fair, we are holding off 1.0 for a reason: It will be the first non-beta update of AA and this is a chance to make this mod one of the best mods of Terraria along with Calamity and others. We are working on to fix as many bugs as possible, so you guys won't deal with too many bugs and halts your gameplay.
Once we release 1.0, we will have frequent updates again, so stay tuned.
