Mobile Android Character Keyboard

I have recently downloaded terraria for android. I have a nexus 5 and I can go in to create my character plus the keyboard pops up but I can't type on the keyboard. If anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated because I can not refund anymore

I had this same problem when I was using the Google keyboard instead of the default keyboard that came on my device.

So, for my Samsung Galaxy S4, I switched back to the Samsung keyboard and then I was able to type.

Following what Tohann said, this keyboard transformation can be found in your devices Settings application, and is found under the 'Keyboard' category. Simply change this setting, and check if anything has changed. If there continues to be a problem, reboot your device, and try again.

I concur with this bug report. Default/standard Android keyboard should work but doesn't appear to. I don't have any other keyboard to use.

Game will accept numercial/single-letter names.
Just enter a letter and press "next"

Download a new keyboard app. Android keyboard is really buggy.

Works on s4. Just download&install swype from playstore.
