Angler achievement progress problem

Any angler quest I do won’t count for the 200 quest achievement, I’ve played the game for years and it’s the last achievement I’m yet to complete, but I don’t seem to get any progress

If you keep initiating conversation with the Angler, he will tell you how many quests you have done with your current character. I am thinking that maybe you need to do the 200 with one character? I rarely miss a quest once I get him, fishing is too strong to ignore. I would check with the Angler, at any rate. He doesn't ALWAYS give you the number, though. Just close the convo, and start again until he does.

That was definitely NOT how it was pre-1.4. Any character would count towards it.

Yeah, wasn't sure on that. I always go way past 200 quests in a run, anyways.

I'm still experiencing this same issue, as I have been stuck at 140/200 since 1.4 released. I hope there is a fix or it is resolved soon.
