Any texture pack or possible way to remove rain particles?

When I'm in a very big area as it rains I get massive lag drops and was wondering if there was a way to remove rain textures

This is "Rain" asset, but I don't know if it going to help with lag but you can try.

That’s not going to work, the sprites will still render even if the pixels are invisible.
