Any tips for defeating the Lunatic Cultist on Legendary mode?

So i've been struggling to defeat the Lunatic Cultist, it's really hard because it is just in Legendary mode. Any tips?

It is on Large mode, I've just farmed for better weapons and defeated golem after killing plantera

Ah, alright.
In that case you may want to defeat Empress for her Soaring Insignia. She also drops a pretty good pair of wings (Empress Wings) but Betsy wings are usually better. You could always use an infinite flight mount but those have a bit of a learning curve if you’re not familiar with them.

Some pretty safe armor options for dealing with bosses that deal heavy damage are Spectre armor with Hood and Beetle with Shell. I personally recommend the latter as you won’t really be able to use spectre hood on moon lord later and beetle shell doesn’t really care about what damage type you use with it.

In post golem the best weapons tend to drop from Duke Fishron, Betsy, and Empress of Light. You should prioritize those if you can. Vampire Knives will also be insanely useful for keeping you alive right up until the end of the game (don’t use it on moon lord though)

It would also help if you showed screenshots of your weapons, potions, and equipment. Keep in mind that although I recommended some pretty tanky equipment here, you will still need to dodge a bit. This is legendary mode, after all.

Some weapons specifically are:
Melee: Scourge of the Corruptor, Flying Dragon, Terra blade, Starlight (if you are REALLY good), or Flairon.
Ranger: Chain Gun, Xenopopper, Tsunami, Snowman Cannon.
Mage: Charge Blaster Cannon, Betsy's Wrath, Stellar Tune or Nightglow, Laser Machine Gun, Razorblade Typhoon
Summoner: Desert Tiger with Firecracker, Xeno Staff with Kaledioscope or Dark Harvest, or Terraprisma if you are good enought to get it with Kaleidoscope..
Armor:
Melee: Beetle or Valhalla Knight.
Ranger: Shroomite or Red Riding.
Mage: Spectre
Summoner: Tiki or Spooky

Ah. Right. One more thing.
If you’re on gfb rather than ftw, Aqua Scepter can be obtained from duke fishron and is so ridiculously powerful that it’s actually insane, so if you want the best weapon possible go for that.
