Any way to edit your mini-map?

I'm currently working on cleansing my world of the Crimson (leaving nothing but an artificial Crimson underground for soul farming) with my Clentaminator and I was wondering if there would be any way to remove the ugly light that'll be left behind on the mini-map once I fill in the tunnels? If there isn't a way to remove them specifically, how could I reset my mini-map as if I just joined on a new character?

make a copy of your map, delete it an put your copy again in the worlds folder, should work

Rename your world. The minimap file is associated with the player file and world name.
