Any way to kill the Wall of Flesh without activating Hardmode?

I'm playing modded and i was wondering if there was any way of defeating the wall of flesh without activating hardmode?

I apologize if i put this thread in the wrong place, im not too familiar with Terraria Forums

nope. it would destroy the inner core of the game. it IS possible to make a NEW boss that drops the same items w/out triggering hardmode
