Armour Polish not dropping

Hi guys! this is my first post so ignore any formatting issues

I'm currently trying to get the Ankh Charm and I've been trying to farm it for sooo long, but it hasn't dropped yet. I set up a mini lava farm so i can do it AFK but I honestly have no ideas as to why its not dropping.
I also haven't defeated Plantera yet but i read its still possible to get the Polish on the wiki but does anyone know why I'm having such bad luck?

There's no mechanism in place that should cause your specific actions (for instance, using an AFK farm) to make the Armor Polish less common (or more, for that matter), so really, your bad luck is just that: bad luck.

The only thing you really can do is keep on grinding, and eventually, it will drop. It's just the problem with random drops: sometimes you get what you're looking for straight away, sometimes it takes ages.
