Weapons & Equip Ascension devices for rope

Since there is such variance in minecarts, it seems logical to have some ascension devices in the game to automate the climbing of ropes, could vary from a little slower than you can do yourself (but automatic) to faster versions appropriate for later in the game/after moon lord and ofc expert mode

I would change it so the player starts with a wooden rope-climbing device when he/she has nothing in the slot for that item, witch would be something new since there's no slot for that yet. Then it would be cool if the first one could be an iron made device, then others with the other ores of the game (silver/tungsten, gold/platinum and demonite/crimtane).

This would make ropes in arenas OP. Although you can already make an op arena using minecarts as Yreorel/Vikilium has done, so I don't think it changes much.
But regardless I don't think it's necessary. Rope's become obsolete fairly early on.

And, you start without one. The current rope climbing thing would be made of wood and iron, so until then you climb extremely slowly (hey its realistic).

Ropes quickly become obsolete now. Such rope climbing device would definitely give second life to ropes as a mean of transportation, especially in deep shafts.
Device would be even more useful if it increased both ascension and descension speed.
