Game Mechanics Augmentation

Would be nice if you could augment weapons at the tinkerer's workshop. Iron broadsword + gemstone adds a little extra damage plus a glowing color depending on what gem was used. Creating shields and rings like on the thorium mod should be added as well. I thought that was really cool.

I think its the kind of thing they would never add to terraria because there is already a diverse enough range of weapons (with more to come) that are perfectly balanced at the points in the game you acquire them. Reforges already enhance the weapons as well
