Blocks & Decoration Auto sorting system

Have you ever spent too long sorting your items into your chests not anymore. The Auto sorting system is a multi block structure. At first you will only get to sort specific items but eventually you will be able to upgrade it into sorting similar items.

Spoiler: Crafting

Simple Sorting System: It is a 3x3 block structure made of sorting blocks a sorting core a sorting output and sorting output block. You put the sorting output and input on the middle right and left, the sorting core in the middle and the rest is filled with sorting blocks.
Sorting Blocks: Basic unit for all the other components.
Materials: 5x iron 20x stone= 10 sorting blocks
Sorting Core: The most important part of the sorting system it allows you to put the items to sort.
Materials: 20x sorting blocks 10x iron 50x stone= 1 sorting core
Sorting Output: This lets you output items to chests
Materials: 10x sorting blocks 10x silver 30x stone= 1 sorting output
Sorting Input: This allows you to input items from a chest
Materials: 10x sorting blocks 10x iron 30x stone= 1 sorting input

Advanced Sorting System: It is a 5x5 multi block structure that is made basically like the simple sorting system but has an extra 8 blocks for upgrade but they can be exchange for just regular sorting blocks. The upgrades can stack.
Speed upgrade: This allows your sorting system to sort faster.
Materials: 30x sorting blocks 20x Martian conduit plating 10x iron= 1 Speed upgrade
Chest Upgrade: This allow the sorting system to be a chest with double the amount of spaces and the items in it stack infinitely.
Materials: 50x sorting blocks 50x Martian conduit plating 30x iron= 1 Chest upgrade
(Hoping to add more upgrades plz leave suggestions)
Similar Item Upgrade: This allows you to sort the same sort of items (Ex: Ranged weapons go in the same chest)
Materials: 60x sorting blocks 60x Martian Conduit Plating 40x iron= 1 Similar Item upgrade.

Spoiler: How it works

The sorting system works by placing items in colored spaces that corresponds with chest colors (A new button in the menu that allows you to assign a color to chest) in the sorting system. Then you can place chest and as long as the chest is connected to another chest that it connected to the sorting system. They the sorting system will sort the items.

Spoiler: Other Items

Blueprints: Sold by the Merchant. Simple sorting system sold right when you get him and the advanced is sold after Martian Madness. It shows the blocks to place and an outline of the system. It will also place the blocks down if you have them all in your inventory.
Price: Simple=30 silver Advanced=30 gold

It's simple enough to store and sort things yourself, so long as you have the chests to cram everything into. I don't think something like this would benefit the game, and it just doesn't seem to fit the style of Terraria. The extent of Machines in Terraria are timers, pumps, pressure plates, and the various traps, all of which are more combat oriented. Why suddenly have a machine for the sole purpose of sorting items?

I would love be able to setup a wiring system from one chest to others. Drop whatever in one chest and it will send weapons here, ammo here, armor over there, building materials down that way, decor, summoning... You name be it.
