I was listening to the (banger) Terraria Otherworld OST, looked at the album cover, and had an idea.
What if there was a crystal which prevented evil biomes (which for the purpose of this post includes hallow) from spreading into its radius?
It could be something you attach to a pylon, or separate. There would have to be a way to adjust the radius, but definitely a size limit.
Also, what if there were crystals for each of the evil biomes that:
Rapidly spread the biome inside the radius,
Didn't let it get out,
Caused the evil inside that it created not to count towards the dryad.
Maybe the Dryad could sell the crystals in a completely pure world?
Anyway, I had this random idea and now you all have read it.
If someone else already had this or a similar idea, it didn't show up when I looked.
