"No, I don't think so this time," Eri draws her mace and axe, "Terminus shouldn't be allowed to be up here, and neither should it be in your hands."
"Are you threatening me, Eri?"
"You keep saying, preaching about how you're going to restore whatever 'truth' there is to this world. Yet, what good has it done? I thought it would restore harmony, balance, but you seem to always tip the scales... Now that you have that, I don't think our goals align anymore."
"...Are you sure they can't?"
"No, not anymore."
"Shame... We used to get so well along each other."
"Yet we now argue every now and then."
"Yes, you believe much about the predetermined fates of harmony and what not, but you don't seem to realize that no world is in harmony. If harmony truly existed, they wouldn't have need to evolve, to change, and therefore alter that harmony."
"And you have to prove that by selfishly taking advantage of it?"
"Free will is always to be expected. I will do what I must."
Velika summons the Sword of Terra Invidia to his side. Murasama, in its locked state, wouldn't suffice a confrontation against Eri right now.
"Eri, must we really fight? Can't you break free from that stubborn mindset?"
"I can't just sit on my hands, watching you disregard the world around you. Not anymore."
