Mobile Blood moon event sometimes does not start if you're in the Cavern or underground layer despite the message appearing in chat

yes these screenshots were taken while on the surface, but that is because I teleported to surface to see if the event started only to be confused to see a normal night. In the first image, I was in the cavern layer jungle when the message appeared, and I was in the underground Corruption when the message in the 2nd pic appeared. And both of these pics were taken in hardmode (Pre-plantera and Post-Mech bosses to be specific). Please fix this immediately! Thank you.
