I just thought this would be a fun item. It's true that Nintendo might try to make this hard to implement, or to get revenge on ReLogic for also having game mechanics, but Terraria has plenty of references to other media.

I'm no lawyer, i don't know what protects this game from whoever owns Where's Waldo and TMNT and Alien and Tomb Raider. I don't know who decided they're allowed to use the name Skellington or the Doctor's outfit. But those are all in Terraria and as far as i know ReLogic hasn't had any trouble about any of those. Even if the zapinator did give them some trouble, there are still two in Terraria today.

I don't know how to make Nintendo not say "actually we invented turtles". But it seems to me that someone at ReLogic does, and i'm taking that to mean there's a chance this could make it into the game.

I do think Nintendo should chill out and stop following the trend of every large company making the world mad at them, but that's not something i can control.

Friendly reminder we have plumber and hero sets both explicitly referencing Nintendo, on the other hand, that crossover with Mojang they did, they didn't let people cross-platform see the skins or play on the custom map.

If you go on Switch today, you can find the texture pack is still being updated, but you can't see the skins or play on the custom map if you're crossplaying from another console or computer.
