Borderlands 2

It's not that the Flakker is hard to use, rather it is the lack of DPS it has that just makes it ineffective even if you reach the pinnacle of its potential. And BL2 is a game that really requires that high damage, specifically on UVHM.

It's extremely effective when dealing with hordes of enemies, like Terramorphous's Masher Tentacles, tho.

You mean Mechromancer 2? I have a slagging conference call and I feel that it is the only gun that is actually useful. Especially when in a team with someone else who doesn't have the pleasure of having a slagging conference call or not smart enough to make their own guns in uvhm because they wanted to play uvhm for some reason. Someone also gave me a level 66 flakker but I'm not level 66 yet. It may also be an epic gun too.

Meh, those tentacles always died super fast anyway with the Conference call (kind of AOE) or Lady Fist (direct damage). Against Terra with the 'zerger, I try to only kill a few to max out No Kill Like Overkill, do some damage to Terra, kill more tentacles to max damage again and repeat.

If you really want to know the best AOE weapon, try a Vladof E-tech rocket launcher partnered with level5 'Inconceivable Skill' with the Gunzerker. Or just alternatively get the Norfleet...

To Hie:
As I said, the Flakker is very effective for taking out large groups of enemies.
It also works great on shielded nomads, as the explosions the gun creates will reach behind their annoying shields.

E-tech Subs go through the shields too.

I do miss my Hyperion E-tech sub collection (which I pair with a slag sniper when gunzerking). Their DPS would make anything drop dead if you aim right. Ultimate Nomads, like I said earlier in the thread, fall before a second finishes with me firing the weapon. That's in combination with a very specific set-up, though.

Those days were back when I played on the Xbox 360, and when my BL2 disc wasn't broken ;). I have the game on Steam, kinda, but I'm really not bothered to go through the whole game again.

Trust me though, I have tried to like the Flakker. My username should give it away with how much I like that kind of stuff. It just couldn't compare at all to the weapons I'd use.

[Colour:red]Pretty much anything with splash damage can hit through the shields, now that I think about it.

[Colour:red]I should totally finish up my Gunzerker.I heard he's supposed to be the most fun to play as.

[Colour:red]I have very few legendaries, and have always been able to make incredible use of them.Either I'm just very skilled with legendaries, or my game is glitched and all enemies have very low health.

Most legendary weapons/equipment are trash, if not incredibly niche. Same goes for Pearlscent weapons. I stuck with a purple Anshin shield for a very long time, always used my purple Hyperion relic (instead of an E-tech relic). Vladof purple sniper rifles with potentially a base magazine size of 30 have some serious damage potential and are always a great thing to have throughout the game (before you get to a point where you start to specialise). I used my Hyperion Slag Sniper, because it worked well with Gunzerking . It had a decent fire rate and mag which meant great hip accuracy with sustained fire with a high chance of slagging. Didn't care about the damage, as it wasn't purposed for direct damage.

My DPS-Machine E-tech Hyperion subs had near perfect precision and could achieve stupendous fire rates with the right skills, and I could also keep shooting without reloading with the right skills.

Again though, it isn't that the Flakker is bad, it is that what I had was better than what that weapon had to offer.

And yeah, Gunzerker is really fun. I completed TVH with the Commando and Siren no problem. Only normal mode with the Assassin as I really hated that class. It didn't fit with my playstyle whatsoever. But I've always stuck with the king of DPS.

Just like in Terraria. Kill 'em before they get a chance to hurt you, and you're invincible.

Hello everyone. I'm looking for a few people [at least 1 person] to play borderlands 2 with. Mics are a must. As well as having had the first game and also having some experience.
