Official Terrarian
Hello, Terrarians!

So far, few bosses have a "spawning" animation (the only ones I know of are Skeletron, the Duke, the Cultist, and the Moon Lord.) As boss spawning in Terraria can be a bit... unusual sometimes (specifically with worm bosses showing up in bomb-able coils), and just to make the game look a bit nicer, here are some suggestions for boss-summon animations.

King Slime: Teleports around 10 blocks away from the player instead of spawning like any other slime, getting stuck, and sucker-punching the player by teleporting on them from offscreen.

Eye of Cthulhu: Suspicious looking eye hovers around 10 blocks above the player and transforms into the Eye in a shower of corrupt/crimson particles.

Eater of Worlds: Pops out of the final Shadow Orb. If the Worm Bait is used, the bait will instead be thrown on the ground, with the Eater tunneling up to get the bait around a second later (thus spawning on the block right below the bait.) Notably, the Eater spawns one segment at a time so you can't cheese it with molotovs and similar weaponry.

Brain of Cthulhu: Final heart spawns the Creepers, which hover in a circle while the Brain teleports into the center of the circle. Bloody Spines, thrown on the ground when used, will instead spawn the Brain on the spine.

Skeletron: Same as before. Old Man will now walk away from the player before summoning Skeletron so the hands don't spawn on the player and deal unavoidable damage.

Queen Bee: Spawns normally. Charges in if the Larva is broken, while spawns in the "bee-summoning" attack if using the abeemination.

Wall of Flesh: Underworld now visibly rumbles the moment the doll hits magma. The Wall will then spawn immediately offscreen (in multiplayer, he spawns left of the leftmost player if summoned on the left, and mirrored on the right.)

Twins: Mechanical Eye flies into the air. Twins will spawn on top of it once it leaves the screen.

Destroyer: Mechanical Worm (Destroyer head) is tossed into the ground, then emerges as the full Destroyer (one segment at a time so it doesnt get rekt by fireworks. RIP Mappy.)

Skeletron Prime: Skull flies offscreen, then spawns Prime (just as usual except players have a brief indicator of where he will spawn)

Plantera: Spawns from Bulb in a shower of grass particles

Golem: Jumps up from the bottom of the screen to about 20 blocks above the Altar, then falls straight down. When going up, it cannot damage the player.

Celestial Towers: Appear in a blinding flash of colored light upon the Lunatic Cultist's death.

(These animations are meant to prevent cheap strategies on both sides, like Golem spawning on the player, Plantera blocking escape routes, the worms charging right on top of the player as soon as they spawn, and in turn players being able to wreck the worms with bombs once they spawn. It also puts a nice touch on bosses.)
