Mobile Bosses disappearing into sky

I hate it when I'm on my skybridge and I summon mechanical skeletron. I'm about to defeat him... And he disappears into the sky... Just disappears... Poof. Also happens with wyverns. It's kinda annoying as I have to farm souls and bones to get him to reappear. Is this a height limit thing or what?

Also wish I had a warning for the holy grenade before accidentally blowing my house up.

I was going to guess "morning", but Skeletron Prime does something else when it's morning. So that's that covered.

Really annoyed as I literally had like 10 hits with my magic daggers and I would've killed him, I've redone him and killed him without a magic disappearing act happening lol. Still, what a waste of bones.

He must have gone up above the sky limit and despawned. Happened to me too. Once his head went above the sky limit- POOF! No more arms either.

Apparantly, when a boss goes out of the world, it might despawn. I was trying out a Wooden Sword vs Arch Wyvern. Half way done, he went off the map and despawned.
