Traps exists in the game to keep you cautious about exploring your surroundings.

They're also only a single-time danger. So once discovered. It's quickly avoided as well.

Dangersense Potions exist.

You can also carry around a Pressure Plate or Dart Trap you find underground to view wires from traps if you're willing to explore slowly.


My suggested solution to your problem is to stop rushing into unexplored, potentially dangerous areas blindly.

It really just depends. If I hear the initial click then I usually can avoid them by just running in a direction and getting ready to jump. If I don't then... There's not much I can do. Explosive Traps are the ones you need to watch out for.
