(I still am mildly annoyed about Delphox being unable to learn Heal Pulse but at least Avale became relevant because of this RP)

(That works fine. He really only needs like 20 minutes of interaction to get his mind back anyways, and I’ve got that time.)

A small golden portal would open by [wherever it’s most convenient I put him].

A frail looking human covered in scars and almost rotting looking flesh fell out. It was a good long while before the human began to stand up, and when he did, he was shaky and uncertain.

Well, he'd probably get plopped near the other characters in that case.
Alisa is the first to notice the portal and the human, and seems worried.

 

[Xal.]

The noble, now on his feet and hunched over, takes a few weak and short steps and looks around to survey his surroundings.

 

[Esther]

Alisa decides to approach the noble, visibly concerned.

The noble, upon seeing Alisa, makes a started exclamation and then begins to back up rather quickly, almost tripping a few times.

 

[Esther]

That would get Avale's attention, and she decides to approach as well to see if she can help in any way.

 

[Xal.]

The noble then turns and runs a short distance before tripping and turning around and standing up. He was now facing the approaching individuals. He made another exclamation and weakly raised his rapier towards the two. (What combat system do you use? D20? He’s gonna make a few swings in self defense, but they’re all heavily nerfed.)

As does Avale, who is a pacifist in basically every way and has been in enough situations like this before to know that this might not go well.

Assuming the two still approach, the noble takes a few wobbling steps towards then and leans backward, limply swinging his sword at whoever was closest.
(got a 9, but for now I’m subtracting 5 from every roll, so it’s a 4.)

(If it hits, it’s not a very bad wound anyways, this guy isn’t swinging very hard.)

That would be Alisa, who rolled a 5, so she barely dodges in time by panic-flying up with her cape.

The noble turns to start running again, but he trips and drops his sword. He seems to be out of energy, so he just kinda flips over and crawls backward a bit, making a few more worried noises.

 

[Esther]

Avale then looks at Alisa once she lands.
"...Think that guy needs help?"
"...I think so..."
"Might as well try then..."
Ava approaches the noble, then uses Heal Pulse in an attempt to help him.

The noble crawls back a bit more, but he stops as he is hit with the pulse.

He wobbled a bit, and then fell fully over, not moving at all.

 

[Esther]

"...Let's hope that helped..."

 

[Xal.]

After a few seconds, the noble hopped to his feet, breathing heavily. He looked around. Instead of hollow black eyes, he seemed to have normal eyes. His irises were a bright green, and the whites of his eyes looked a bit bloodshot.
“I…”

He looked at the two in-front of him in severe confusion.
