Bug involving Obsidian Shield

I'm playing terraria on the Nexus 5 device, and have been trying to combine the cobalt shield and obsidian skull to form the obsidian shield, but there is no option for it in the crafting menu.

I do not know if this is a bug or something that was deliberately not added.

Haha yes, I'm in front of the tinkerers workshop. The issue is that the actual recipe will not show up in the crafting menu. I have already crafted a large number of items including the sandstorm balloon and horseshoe items. I currently have 3 obsidian skulls and even 3 cobalt shields, but the crafting option simply won't show up!

that definitely is a problem, it could range from all sorts of things, you may have a serious bug on ur hands there

I can craft it just fine, double check and make sure you're in the right crafting tab. The Obsidian Shield isn't found in the accessories tab, but in the armor tab.

Do you have the shield or skull equipped? That might be the problem if you do.

Try to use a different character I've seen a exactly like this but with meteorite.

Are they in your accessories bar?
