I second this. Sometimes the guide crafting recipes are blank when I know the item has a use. It doesn't happen all the time though. Another issue is that if the items are more than 2 materials to craft, it won't let me go past the 2nd one. This happens almost all the time. One of the easiest ways for me to trigger this is if I'm looking at the crafting recipe for the PDA, or anything that has more than 2 ingredients like a potion. The only work-around that I found was touch screen play. But I didn't think of this because I play docked on the TV all the time.
