Because literally no one would be happy with that and there are no laws against editing files on a device where the entire point of it is being able to edit your files?

Cyber. First of all, please stop double posting. Posting multiple times is not going to make your message sound louder. It is also against forum rules to double post. One post is enough until someone else has replied.

For your opinion. Console and mobile platforms forbid modding due to the companies that own the platforms. There is no choice but to follow the policies of companies such as Sony, Microsoft and Apple. It is out of anyone's control. Modding is only allowed on PC because Re Logic has full control of the platform on PC and they want to permit it on PC. If the policies of the other console/mobile companies were different it would be one thing and mods on other platforms could be considered. Right now however, we must also uphold the policies that console and mobile manufacturers implement.

Yet again, sorry for this, but due to platform conflict, unsupported mod thingmabobs, and the fact nothing mobile ever will not crash and burn when running calamity, no. Not happening. Nope.

Well maybe if they port the mod support for 1.4, but that’s very unlikely. So just no.
