I get hit by tails. its an issue. xD. But is all he has damage increases and spits?

It's the tail that gets me every time.
 
Small update on things:
  1. Devourer of Gods now mocks the player if his head hits them or if his tail hits them.
  2. DoG head, body, and tail now give several debuffs with low timeLefts. I think @Celris had this idea previously. Head gives the longest debuffs and the tail gives the shortest.
  3. Perforators and Desert Scourge now have similar AI changes to the Devourer.
 
I just killed the desert scourge as a ranger with no armor , a wooden greatbow and jester arrows

I just said he got the Devourer buff. He will also resist a lot of piercing projectiles in the next update.
 
Since the Pocket Mirror gives Petrification-immunity, why not make Petrification more common?

Perhaps Providence can use an Off-Wave like attack that can go through walls and petrify you if you are facing towards Providence, and then he uses the time you are petrified to beat you up.
