I kinda agree with
Flamingo here, I do not understand the nerfs to vanilla things when there is so much stupidly OP stuff in the mod, whats the point to nerfing vanilla stuff? if anything it needs a buff. By Op stuff, I am not just talking about the weapons that do percent based damage, there is alot of things that just are far more op than vanilla gear, yet vanilla stuff got nerfed...?

Also, anyway I can disable that damage reduction on summons/minions when I don't have the weapon in my hand? Of the entire mod I feel I hate that thing the most, it just seems entirely pointless. Maybe let them hit for base damage without a summoner class weapon in hand, but when you do have one grant them a bonus to damage to give incentive.

"Stupidly OP stuff in the mod" You mean the like, 5 weapons that are limited due to ammo used (that's the intent anyway without dupe exploits or other mods that blow cash out of proportion) and the halibut cannon which is meant to be that powerful?

This seems to be a rather outdated argument as we have nerfed many things in the mod that were "stupidly OP" in the past. I'd be more inclined to agree with you if you had evidence and statistics provided but you don't. My devs do, however, and we're trying to ensure everything is well in line with vanilla and if it's not then something needs to change.

Are you that out-of-date to think we didn't BUFF any vanilla weapons?

Here, let me drop some knowledge. We buffed every nearly-useless flail in vanilla by 100%, we buffed things like the Venom Staff, DD2 weapons, Crystal Vile Shard, Medusa Head, etc.

We only nerfed like 6 weapons, that's IT, stop your misinformed and outdated arguments for christ's sake.

We have also made the summoner nerf while holding a non-summoner weapon far less extreme, but you wouldn't know that would you? Of course not, why would I expect you to read changelogs.

So me and a friend are having some.. issues, namely with Eater of worlds, in pre-hardmode, everytime we fight him he despawns at exactly 2.7% health left for no apparent reason, were both in corruption were both alive, he just despawns right before we kill the final 2 segments. Fought him 3 times now, same result every time.

That's interesting, as this mod doesn't really change anything with Eater of Worlds despawning behavior.

Except during the boss rush, and I doubt you two are doing that based on what you said.

It's advisable to let the thread resume its usual help thread forum behavior, as Fabsol has stated they are unwilling to make changes beyond what has already been described, and limiting the amount of times you can actually fire the weapons people are having issues with is a genuinely fair exchange for their sheer power.

Let's please move on. This has become a shouting match between multiple people. We've already reached resolution in the original issue, and facts have been displayed.

I did ask earlier about change logs, I'll check the discord. How far ago was that change or was it very recent?
 
Astrum Aureus's homing projectiles- not the large astral spawns or whatever but the smaller ones- sometimes do not reset the adrenaline meter

no this is not right after i got hit- this is me running away and it hits me

I didn't have fun. All it did was add more stress where it wasn't needed, I'm supposed to be on break but :red: just keeps happening.

Actually it's not cropped in anyway. And they came in with threats. I explained I've had the picture for 4-5 YEARS and didn't appreciate being threatened.

So yeah when you have multiple people coming to harrassed someone that's harrasment.

This was the primary reason I stopped talking here a while back, me not being able to control my own thread without being chastised for it.

What I'm trying to say is that could you all stop being so elitist and controlling? The forums are no longer a comfortable place to come and hang out, that has moved to the discords.

That would be great. A report would be appreciated though. This may be "your thread" (or rather a thread that you started), however that doesn't give you moderation power in it. Otherwise the forums would be full of vigilantes each controlling their own threads and policing it however they'd like.

But again, if you want to discuss more I'm happy to in a private message.
