PC Camera Function Question

So I have this idea for a gif/video. But I need to be able to capture what is happening in the game with the character moving across the screen but with out the camera going with him.

Is there a way to do this with the Camera function? Or at all for that matter?

Also should note. I just realized I could do this with a second account on a separate computer. But is there a way to do it with 1 account.

Host and play doesn't seem to work for lan.

Seems like you'd have to resort to finding a friend to film stuff. I can't do it because I don't really have any recording software. There's really no other way.

Yeah thats what I opted to do. I have the account on lappy join my pc world and my pc one will sit under the thing I wanna record and such and then have the lappy one do what ever.
