PS4 Can’t fish in lava

Idk why I can’t post this in console support but I need help. I got hell butterflies but when I use them in lava nothing catches. Like I wait for 1-2 minutes and I get nothing. Do I need to wait longer or is this a bug or something else? If it helps my fishing rod is the Flesh Catcher.

It's just really slow, try using accessories and buffs that increase fishing power while your at it

Yeah ok. Since posting this I got a golden fishing rod and full angler armor so I can try. How long should it take?
