When you hover the cursor over a plate a picture of the item you’re holding (whether it’s food or not) appears in the “use item” button, in the “interact” button, and next to the cursor, but in none of these places does a picture of the plate appear, as it should according to the plate’s tooltip. You can’t place food on plates. When I try, I find myself guzzling hamburger after hamburger like some kind of enraged carbohydrate demon when all I want to do is place the food on the plate.
