Can i change the world size of my world via the games files?

Me and my friend have been playing on a small type world and have progressed alot, but we want to change it to large type so we can explore more. So i thought i could maybe change this in the files but i dont understand any of it. Does anyone know if this is even possible? Or are we stuck with a small world?

Hello Redpanda.

It is not possible to change the world size of a world after it has already been created.

Your only option is to create a new world with a different preferred size.
