PC Can monoliths be activated by wires and logic gates?

Im trying to make a map where the void monolith flashes every 5 secs but
it wont turn on with timers and wires. does anyone know if they even can or am i just bad at wiring?

Monoliths are able to receive signals via wire, make sure your wire is connected to it, not just next to it.
