Maps Can some one help convert a world

So me and some friends are gonna do a desert world play through and i was wondering if anyone could me convert most of a world to a desert.

I think there's a program called tWorld edit or something that allows you to edit worlds on a massive scale.

well when I use tedit to convert the world to a desert the sloped and whatnot bits makeS gaps I don't want

You can tick "extras" box, then tick the "brick style" and select "full brick" from the drop down box (although it's probably selected by default).

Once you've converted all the blocks you want, you can then use the hammer tool (the icon above the "fill" icon) to smooth out only the surface tiles.
