PC Can someone explain how this isn't a valid house? [Solved]

I can't find anything wrong with this structure yet i can't move my Angler in, i've studied it and adjusted it for 10 minutes and there's nothing wrong with it! so why isn't is valid?

Not sure, but I think you need to add more wood blocks instead of wood platforms.

Platforms count as a valid flooring, and i already tried.

Normally, an NPC needs at least one solid block to stand on that's not next to a wall. Technically your house meets that criteria. I just built a mockup of the same structure and got the same result. Oddly, I was able to make it valid by removing a platform from one end and replacing it with a solid block, then moving one door out by one block. It appears the block to stand on doesn't reconcile well in close proximity to doors.

My no frills low-rent test build (the part of the Angler being played by Jack the Guide):

Additionally, you could keep the doors where they are and place a single block in the middle under the work bench and that seems to work as well (and looks better than the above lopsided example).

I pushed out both doors by one and it works now, thanks crit
