I am using the default built-in Steam Deck controller.
The default displayed keybind to toggle the sniper scope (displayed underneath the tooltip) is LB. This is not the case, as the LB button is, by default, keybound to scroll left in the hotbar instead. The zoom feature always being activated is super disorienting and makes the sniper scope very unpleasant to use; if this could be addressed in a later hotfix (either by changing the keybind internally or adding a new keybind setting for this kind of toggle), it would be very appreciated.
