Resolved Can't buy forest pylon since Zoologist arrived

I wanted to buy the forest pylon, so I went to the shops of all my nearby NPCs to see who sells it.
I found out that only the mechanic sells it. I went to my storage to grab some gold for it, and in the meantime, the Zoologist arrived in a vacant house I had.
Now, nobody sells the forest pylon, not even the mechanic!

NB: The hapinness of my NPCs did not change with the arrival of the Zoologist.

It sounds to me like there are now too many NPCs near the mechanic for them to sell it. Try moving one away temporarily.

I moved one away, but that did not change anything :/
And now I have another new NPC xD

It seems NPCs will sell Pylons the easiest if they are only in groups of 2. Merchant/Nurse - Forest, and Zoologist/Guide - Forest work very well.

Basically, the requirement is: An NPC needs to be in a biome they like or love, needs an NPC they love, needs ONLY the NPC they love around.

So it can be ruined by a 3rd NPC, even if they are indifferent to them. One exception appears to be Painter/Dryad/Witch Doctor - Jungle. I believe all 3 like each other, so all 3 may sell a Jungle Pylon.

Yeah, that did it. I moved almost half of my NPCs to do so.
