Can't find souls of night

I recently got into hard mode and I needed to get some some souls of night.I was grinding for about an hour in the underground corruption but I couldn't find any.But I can find souls of light just fine and doesn't take me too long.Maybe i'm just really unlucky with souls of night.

 

[Adapting]

It was the opposite for me, I was struggling to find souls of light, but had an abundance of light. I'd say possibly find a better farming spot and bring water candles and battle potions. Definitely not a bug though.
