Can't Launch After 1.4.1 Update

Ever since the update I haven't even been able to see the title screen, I just press play on steam, then it runs for a few seconds before closing, it shows nothing. I've tried verifying game files, uninstall, setting music volume to 0, deleting config all together, but none of it has worked.
 
I had the same problem, and while I have yet to find a permanent solution, I do have a temporary workaround.

Simply navigate to your C:\Users\User\Documents\My Games\Terraria folder and delete config.json. The game should start up, but you'll have to reconfigure your settings. The main problem with this workaround is that every time you want to open Terraria, you have to delete the file again, and reconfigure your settings again.
 
AYYYYYYY I can finnally play it again. I just left it uninstalled for a while, no other changes since it was last broken. It works fine now.
