okay never mind i deleted razer chroma and now it works

I have this same issue, the logo plays and then the screen goes black, the music cuts out, and it crashes.

I have tried:
- verifying integrity of files through steam (it says that 1 / 1 file wont verify and it will fix, then downloads something but nothing changes)
- uninstalling and re downloading
- updating graphics drivers
- running as administrator
- allowing access through windows firewall defender

I don't have razer chroma (I think?) but I have razer comms, maybe deleting that would help?

Nevermind I found razer chroma, and uninstalling it fixed it!
I didn't even have to get rid of razer comms.

I found razer chroma in control panel > programs > programs and features

okay so,
in my case i recently got a new keyboard (not a razer) and had a razer before.
while i started terraria it tried to start razer chroma, but it couldnt cause i didnt have a razer anymore.
so i deleted razer chroma and now it works.
i hope this helps

just search for razer chroma on your pc,
if you have it deinstall it
if you dont have it i cant help you sorry
