Hello everyone who has downloaded my mod (or is trying to see if it is worth dowloading)! I am HeroScorp, the creator of the Chlorostuff mod, and I will be your guide through this forum page (just don't throw me in lava though).
Mod Description
This mod was made by me in conjunction with a friend (just to give me more stupid ideas) to add some new items into Terraria. I didn't expect to get anyone downloading this mod the day I posted it on tModLoader, I really just put it there so that he could download it. However, with 6000+ downloads, I feel as if i owe you guys a trip through what this mod adds. Firstly, the meat of this mod, at first, was the Chloroshot. The Chloroshot is a shotgun with crazy spread and an absurd amount of bullets fired. This mod adds a new bar called Shroomophyte. This metal has its own armor set that gives outrageous ranged damage benefits (with no drawbacks, so that needs to be balanced
Glaring Issues
I feel that I should address some of the big problems with the mod while I'm here too.
1. Sprites: Disclaimer: I am not good at art, much less very small, detailed things. I have been trying to practice on photoshop for my extended absence. This means that I will add new weapons and polish old sprites.
2. Balancing:Since this was just a fun mod that I made for me and my friend to mess around in, I didn't care about balance at first. Now, I feel that, since it's posted, I should care, and I'm working on it. Just tell me what needs to be done and I'll do it.
3. More content: I really want this mod to be kind of expansive, so more content is something that I will be adding quite soon. Expect things from the features in progress section down below

- Post-Plantera pre-Golem Boss
- A new bullet type (for Bald Eagle)
- A yoyo maybe
- New biome based on shroomophyte ore (adding ore spawns in mushroom biomes too, maybe)

- Updates to this forum section
Edit (4/20/20): So guys, it sure has been a while. I don't know if this will show up on anything, but it's worth a try updating this old post. I have left this mod sitting for way to long, and now that Journey's End is coming out I kinda have some motivation to work on this again. I just haven't had enough free time or drive to work on this mod as this was more of a passion project than full-time hobby. I do intend to try to push out an update before 1.4 comes out, but that may not be possible due to my first year of college wrapping up (engineering is tough!). I hope people still care about this mod, and I noticed that we passed 6000 downloads I think. I've been thinking about the future of this mod and I think that trying to figure out boss AI and biome generation would be something worth doing, so expect some kind of boss and new biome (no timeline though cuz learning that and doing school work while procrastinating is going to be a hassle). That is about it, and I will be editing other things in the description on this page, too. See ya!
Edit (4/29/20): Ok, so basically tModLoader is official now. That means that I plan on holding back on this mod until 1.4 support comes to the Steam ModLoader. However, I will be learning AI and biome generation in the time being, so expect that when I am able to update this mod. I'm thinking that the next update will release at the end of the summer (maybe) as this will give me time to play Journey's End, write new code, and add things I want. The next release of this mod will be Chlorostuff 2.0, and I will try to update a wiki page as I add more items. That's it for this update. See ya!
