Resolved Controller issues on PC?

So I've been playing Terraria on and off all week. Earlier today my wired XBOX One controller was working just fine, but the last time I logged on (a few minutes ago), I found that I couldn't do anything in my inventory. It seemed to be rendering the mouse instead of my controller, but only in the inventory. Any ideas on how to fix this? It's really obnoxious to be switching from controller to mouse every minute.
 
I'm still having this issue. My controller works with every other controller supported game on Steam, just not this. Even though it says 'full controller support' on the Terraria store page.
