Also, I don't really see the point of this - copyright only means something if the person holding it has the legal means to defend it should it be breached. It also does not apply to fan works.

Eh... I was introduced to it to my friend... and he said that this is all you had to do. I saw no other buttons ^_^
 
There really isn't a need to post stuff on this thread to ensure it's copyrighted. For example, most of my terraria works are under a Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative Works 3.0 License, and I just post them whenever.

You could alternatively and easily make a deviantArt account, it supports CC licensing with a few clicks upon uploading a piece of work, without having to bother with the silly html.


To fix your html problem, you can simply copypaste the image on your CC license:


Just right click > copy image, and pasting it ensures it also links back to the original page
