I have almost 2000 hours on this game, and I can say I love every aspect of it, except for one.
One of my biggest gripes of the base game is the spread of corruption and hallow, as I need to worry about keeping certain important areas of my world purified.
I think having a mechanic that limits its growth to a certain percent would be a gamechanger, especially for new players and just worrying about the chore of biome management in general (for those that don't like clentaminating, I mean).
Something like 25% of hallow and 25% of corruption. Like maybe it slows down as it gets closer to that percentage or something easy like that.
Plantera could also have some impact on that, like "nature taking back its place" and the normal blocks being the ones that purify the corruption through spreading, like a reverse of roles.
