It’s something that was considered. It’s not that the subject matter is off limits to talk about (discussing methods to pirate the game is off limits, but this thread isn’t doing that). Sometimes other members give helpful advice to the original poster on ways that they can save up or catch the game on discount, or help the original poster realize that purchasing a legitimate copy is best.
The problem is when members join in to the discussion just to say that they don’t like the discussion. It’s unnecessary in any thread, no matter the particular topic.
But yes, if this thread continues to be a magnet for nonsense posts, it’s possible that it may end up locked.
