Linux [CRASH] re-sizing game window or changing in game settings

Sir Twaddles

Terrarian
When launched, it works fine at the main menu screen. If I maximize the windowed game, then attempt to load a character then enter a world in single player, the game will crash seconds after entering the world.

If I do not re-size the window and enter the world, I can play the game normally. If I attempt to press Escape, the click Settings, the game will also crash.

I have also disable steam game overlay UI to see if it would change anything, but it did not and the crashes still occur.

My system:
OS: Arch Linux 64 bit
Desktop Environment: Cinnamon
Desktop Resolution: 1440x900
CPU: AMD FX 4350
GPU: AMD HD 7850 using official AMD Catalyst 15.7 drivers
RAM: 14 GB

Steam game error log: http://ix.io/jUb

If any other files or logs are needed, let me know.

Edit: just found the mac and linux social thread. this might be a duplicate of what is reported here:

Found a workaround.

For Arch 64bit users, the FNA.dll library seems to be causing issues.

grabbing the modified FNA.dll from Ethan Lee, then replacing it in ~/.local/share/Steam/SteamApps/common/Terraria works

Additionally, the lighting under Settings, Video in terraria needs to be set to Retro for this to work.

game runs normally after that.

Please lock this thread, as I've moved to the Mac and Linux beta social group, where I should have been.
