You'll need to write the commands in the chat, yeah.

You use the /npc command (spawn the core of moonlord)
So /npc 398

Why wouldn't it work? Are you sure you've installed the mod and it's enabled? You can try /? as well, it's the same.

Use /time day
And then use /time freeze

Mac user here running tML 7.1.1. When I load up the mod Terraria freezes then crashes without any error message.

I just got into Terraria modding, so I installed tModLoader and everything.

It says that I have to download the mod through the mod browser, but when I search "Creative" it doesn't pop up. I even scrolled down, it wasn't there.

Yeah same here. I tried running a previous version thru 0.7 and it did the same thing. Had to remove the mod from the folder. Not a lot of work, but still a *bit* annoying.

for MAC you'll need to use a mac link provided in OP unless mod browser was fixed during the update
