Crimson mimic keeps spawning in hallow biome

i was farming mimics and got all of the crimson mimic drops so i switched over to hallow the water was hallow and even the background why did the crimson mimic keep spawning?
 
If your Crimson was in an area where the Hallow and Crimson intersects, it is possible it has spawned from that. It is difficult to know for sure without knowing where it spawned with regards to where the Crimson & Hallow are in your World, or if it is a Crimson Mimic that followed you into the Hallow. That is what my guess is.
