Ever since the announcement of cross-play I have always wondered at the idea of being able to use mods on my console and texture packs on my switch, such a thing would be possible with some effort as there is an example of this which is very real that Is known as "ARK: Survival Ascended". if you dont know "ARK: Survival Ascended" or "ASA" for short, is a remake of the dinosaur survival game "ARK: Survival Evolved" or "ASE". but one of the many additions they made to this remake is that they added the ability to use mods published on the steam workshop and to download them with an in game browser. Granted they were able to achieve this by using a third party software distribution service specializing in cross-platform support known as "Overwolf" which I imagine required some sort of business deal. I'm not saying this is the rout the Terraria should take all im saying is that it is theoretically possible to port both TModloader and Texture/Music packs and Worlds to console and mobile players. Could it happen? maybe. should it happen? maybe. is it possible? yes.
