Well, those are Living Cursed Fire Blocks, which produce light and can't be collided with. If I had to guess, these are more Brick blocks, like Copper or Demonite Bricks.
Looking at the crafting recipe for the blocks, you can assume that's the case, seeing it requires Stone blocks, just like the metal bricks.

He was stating that he did not understand the suggestion, which I will say now may need a bit more information about the blocks. What exactly are they even? Fire type blocks, like living fire blocks? Solid blocks? Enlighten us and perhaps we can get a better idea of the suggestion.

Cursed/Ichor/Miasma/Onyx Flame/Beam Reactor Blocks emit a fair amount of light (does not count as a light source for NPC spawning) while Silicon and Ember cannot even emit LIGHT!!! becuase that suggestion is mine

First, what's with all the !!! And, yeah, they emit light, but what does silicon look like? You don't describe it in the Blessing.
