Game Mechanics Cursor sprite unlockables

Doing certain things in the game unlocks new cursor styles in the settings
Beating the eye of cthulhu gives you an eye cursor, wall of flesh gives you a demon cursor, moonlord gives you a squid cursor and so on
they would be like permanent trophies for players to unlock

How would these "unlock?" Would vanity accessories drop from enemies, like the Rainbow Cursor? Or would there be a whole new menu for choosing your cursor style?

it would be a setting in the cursor settings, maybe when first unlocking them you get a consumable that gives you the unlock
